Ukraine's Meat Grinder

There is a critical flaw in the western military strategy applied in Ukraine. The providing of state of the art equipment is meaningless without the training, discipline and motivation to use it effectively. Victory by technology alone has a predictable outcome, defeat.
The Russians have turned Ukraine into a traditional battlefield using the combination of a meticulously planned strategy of relentless artillery strikes utilizing UAV’s providing real-time feedback to artillery crews whom in turn, provide deadly precision fire killing troops and destroying combat equipment before it has a chance to engage Russia infantry. The result is a battlefield where movement is nearly impossible without being targeted. This is not only a physical challenge, but a psychologically demoralizing one in knowing that any attempt to regroup or retreat, could result in utter obliteration.
The Russian artillery units are highly trained and efficient, maintaining a constant rate fire without exhausting their crews, which are rotated over a pre-determined set of hours depending on rate of fire, meteorological conditions, time of day, etc. Meanwhile the Ukrainians are in a constant kill zone lacking the equipment and coordination needed to counter such well coordinated tactics.
Our focus on providing advanced weaponry without addressing the strategic necessities, is once again proving ineffective. No amount of false propaganda can change the reality on the ground as a testament to the devastating effectiveness of Russia’s military strategy with a significant slice of Ukrainian land under Russian control with no means to dislodge them, and these were made in the chaotic early days of the second year showcasing a calculated approach by Russian forces.
The Western media narrative that Russia is stretched thin, lacking resources or running out of manpower, is a blatant fabricated lie. Instead, the Russians possess a military machine that has adapted and optimized strategies for long-term success. This also highlights the limitation of current Ukrainian defense strategy, which instead of a cohesive, well coordinated efforts to rebuild and strengthen their morale, they are throwing into the meat grinder their foreign volunteers, composed of mismatch troops from various countries with no cohesion, no training, nothing binding them together other than promises of monetary compensation. Latest reports indicate these foreign fighters are deserting at an alarming rate with over 1000 desertions in one month alone.
It has become painfully clear that advanced weapon system alone cannot solve the lack of skills and motivation. War drones require skilled operators and a robust network to be effective yet, many Ukrainian soldiers report, insufficient training, lack of supplies and poor leadership. This disconnect between material support and operational capabilities, is becoming increasingly evident as the lack of resourcefulness cannot be overlooked.
Western powers often underestimate the reality on the ground. Russia has demonstrated an uncanny ability to replenish and deploy their arsenal. The Ukrainian are facing relentless pressure and struggling to maintain their fighting spirit, on the other hand, Russian forces, are resolute, driven by a sense of historical purpose.
The shifting dynamics of the conflict for the Ukrainian defensive posture is increasingly reactive, while Russia continues to dictate the terms of engagement to their benefit. The fact is that Ukrainian soldiers, are facing relentless well coordinated operations on the front lines. This spectacle is deeply embarrassing at a time when Ukrainians are already demoralized. Ukraine, is led by an entertainer with nothing to show but lofty empty speeches backed by embarrassing blunders in military strategy.
The Ukrainian people deserve better. They deserve competent leadership, not a puppet of the West. Ukrainian troops are fragmented and struggling to maintain their morale in a deadly environment led by inadequate leaders. The Russians, on the other hand, regardless of Western propaganda, have demonstrated a consistency, a discipline, cohesion and ability to adapt with a collective mindset that prioritizes a steady pace of success even after the surprise attack the Ukrainians managed to deliver into Russia’s Kursk region, which pretty much has become another killing field of Ukrainian forces.
From the Russian perception, if the West wants to double down and pour money and equipment into the black hole of Ukraine because it motivates the brainwashed electorate to re-elect the very politicians wasting their treasuries, go ahead. Advanced weaponry and seemingly endless financial support, although crucial, cannot compensate for lack of a cohesive strategy, skilled soldiers and morale.
The Russians have a long term commitment and aren’t not going to give up. They are putting everything into their goal of not allowing Ukraine to become a puppet state of the West on their border. Nothing is going to stop them from winning this war short of a nuclear Armageddon. NATO doesn’t have the ability, manpower, nor the legality to confront Russia in a non-NATO country. NATO knows this. The United States knows this. The reality is that there’s not enough money, there’s not enough military equipment, and even more critical is that there aren’t enough Ukrainians to replace the human loses they are suffering.
