True and False, can you tell the difference?

In the words of Arne Tiselius, “We live in a world where unfortunately the distinction between true and false appears to become increasingly blurred by manipulation of facts, by exploitation of uncritical minds, and by the pollution of the language.” Bingo! I couldn’t have said it better. It describes exactly the misinformation spewing out of social media and the mainstream media corrupting the power of reason and common sense of the minds of young people. This affects people differently based upon their values or lack there of. Take for example the rioters and thugs tearing up cities and that young man, Rittenhouse, who’s been charged with the shootings in Kenosha, WI. All were exposed to the same diatribe aimed at Trump, Conservatives, Whites and America in general, but their response was the polar opposite. Some came to destroy, burn, loot, hurt while others like Rittenhouse came to protect property and keep the peace. Of course, the thuggery wouldn’t have it and soon events were set in motion there was no coming back from. Two thugs are dead. The would-be-hero is in custody facing murder charges even though all recorded visual evidence shows him not initiating the confrontation but defending himself from a brutal mob assault. I expect that in due time, Rittenhouse will be cleared of all charges but if he ain’t, America is no longer that shinny city on a hill where truth and justice prevails but a shadow realm of lies and deceit.
