The Law of Unintended Consequences, the Liberal’s Nemesis

The western liberal’s mind is a complex multitude of paradoxes and unintended consequences. The liberal conceives of itself as being “good” because they’re “liberal.” The Liberal tells him or herself: “I’m a good person because I am liberal” or “I’m liberal because I’m a good person. I believe in things like diversity, equity and inclusion, conscience and compassion, looking after the wretched of the world against the evils of greed. These are all good things and that’s why I’m a liberal. I’m a liberal because of all these good things,” so it goes on and on and on.
One of the most polarizing expressions of liberalism is the “victim versus the oppressor” concept, and chief among this is the Palestinian Arabs – the victims, and the Jewish state of Israel – the oppressors, which has stolen their land and is committing genocide. But then October 7th happened, and suddenly you have a situation in which the people, that the liberal progressives support, the Palestinians, have suddenly turned into the most bloodthirsty savages that could ever be imagined, not just people who kill, but who slaughter in a sadistically barbaric and depraved fashion. They have slaughtered, raped, beheaded, tortured burned alive, babies, children, women, and the elderly.
The liberal rationale can’t have that, because if they have that, if they admit that, then their entire world view is shattered, because the people they have presented as victims, have been shown to be evil and that they can’t allow, so what do they do? They double down in their libel towards Israel. In this case, although the Israelis are the victims of October 7th’s attack, you accuse them of genocide in their response to the horrific violence that was unleashed upon them.
Here’s another example of the liberal progressives’ absurdity. The Biden administration — in the interest of protecting the environment and mitigating climate change — killed the proposal of building a pipeline from Pennsylvania through the state of New York over to New England, that would’ve brought clean natural gas to heat the homes of millions of Americans. These homes still have to be heated so what did they do instead? They imported dirty Russian heating oil to heat the homes that has ten times the exhaust emissions of natural gas! And as if that wasn’t ridiculous enough, they’re buying the oil from Russia, which in turn, uses the revenue to fund its war in Ukraine!
Can somebody explain to me where is the logic in this? It’s a rhetorical question.
