To waste your life chasing delusions is bad enough. To sacrifice innocent lives in such a frivolous quest is monstrous. History is full of the terrible alluring power of socialism and the inexhaustible supply of its educated advocates. Socialism, in general, has a record of abysmal failure so blatant that only intellectuals could ignore it. So, it should come as no surprise, that we find Marxists concentrated in the one place where their skewed fantasies do not have to work to survive, Academia. A world glutted with otherwise unemployable, socially-dysfunctional, dilettantes. A world in which they are protected by the security of tenure, from poisoning idealistic young minds. But why such hatred towards Capitalism? Simple. They hate the free market because it rewards individuals not for their academic pedigrees but, for talent, creativity, skills, abilities and work ethic. British Philosopher, Bertrand Russel, said it best: “Men are born ignorant, not stupid; they are made stupid by education.” Want to save your children? Don’t send them to college.
