Run To The Father

*AUTHORS NOTE: I was torn between two analogies for this post... so I chose both.

The world is on fire.... right?

Nah. Okay, well, parts of it are. Like: the parts that have an operational hand in mainstream media, social networks, the parts (of society) who've gone full woke and proud of it, the parts (people) who cater & pander to those parts, sure. They have squeezed a figurative bottle of lighter fluid over ever square inch of land and every person they can reach, and are striking matches left and right.

But here's the thing. For every match they light, He blows out two. For everything they destroy and corrupt, He saves or brings something of beauty. They want to distract us from His truth and His light. They want us to believe all is for naught, and we can't possibly win. But we (many of us) know the battle is already won... and they know it, too. Why else would they be trying so hard to distract us from what ours hearts know? Why else would they come for the children? Why else would they try to steer us away from the Father? Because they know.

Yes, we are in the midst of a great and terrible storm and, yes, it's a challenge to remember Who is in control. So, if you are struggling, the way to finding peace in the storm is simple. Run to the Father. He is the peace, He is the shelter. Remember these messages:

He caused the storm to be still, So that the waves of the sea were hushed

You rule the swelling of the sea; When its waves rise, You still them.

And He got up and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Hush, be still.” And the wind died down and it became perfectly calm.

Here's a video I love & hope you'll love it, too. Happy Father's Day.
